NOTES SEPTEMBER 2007 Back to the archives. 9-20-07 I came up with a new idea of thought tonight.. it's my way of trying to get my head into what drives this disgusting piece of trash known as OJ Simpson, convicted murderer. I call it "The Cult of OJ." Because he is obviously insane, combined with a heavy dose of narcissism and most likely a serious drug addiction, he just can't let things rest. As if I need to remind anybody that this man is a walking time bomb.. we all know it, the families of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman know it, both juries knew it... so why doesn't OJ Simpson's posse know it? Are they, too, insane? How could anybody possibly, in good reason, associate with OJ Simpson, let alone sleep with him, as his current girlfriend (of ten years!!) does? I'm thinking that OJ uses his power and money (which he shouldn't have but does) and intense ability to influence to gather just the kind of "OJ Mafia" to keep him protected and in a constant state of self-importance. We all saw the arrogance and total lack of remorse the first time around, ten years ago when he was on trial for the double murder, in one of televisions most blown-up media events. However, we were not under his spell. There are many, though, that still are.. the "fans".. the ones that go to the sports memorabilia conventions to get his autograph and a (shutter) hug, after paying $100 in cash. These people are not helping his mental state. They feed the hungry monster that is he, inflate his already bloated ego. OJ has become the leader of his own cult, and his followers blindly pad his path towards insanity. Oh sure, OJ doesn't have a gun. But you can bet everyone of those bulky stupid men that walk with him do. And so, OJ talked himself and his flock into his next big event, one he HAD to know was going to make him, once again, set the media's mouth chattering away non-stop about him. Even I am. Because, like Michael Jackson, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears, he has left reality a long time ago, and that wouldn't be as big of a problem, except that he has that celebrity, that money, that power, that influence, that disturbing charisma that lets him get whatever he wants.. or so he thought. Because, this time that bastard has GOT to GO DOWN! And it's scary, you know, because never once has a major celebrity gone to jail for a serious charge. Does he think he can get away with it again? 9-9-07 You've all seen this site, right? I thought so. Pretty cool. 9-2-07 Happy Labor Day weekend and onward to September. Wow. Summer sure went by fast. That's just not right. I've had the last two weeks off, and it's been nice to have the time to do nothing. Yep. Though, it never feels like I've got enough of nothing done. Damn it. I wonder, if I had more time, would I get more of nothing done? Most likely. Ah well, I suppose getting back to work will be ok... of course, I lie. Anyway, that wimpy paycheck will come in handy. Right now we've got family up, and last night we had a nice double birthday celebration for Nash & Nick. One is now 17 and one is now 40... can you guess which is which? Yes. I know, I'm lacking a certain verbal spunk today, perhaps I should just stop right now and come back later. Thanks. Back to the archives.
