NOTES NOVEMBER 2006
Back to the archives.

11-19-06 We had three days of warm weather, so we didn't have to use any wood.. that was nice. Then it got cold again yesterday, but all it took was a few logs off the pile to get the house all toasty again for last night. Friday night we had a jam session in the basement, and was up quite late. Yesterday I managed to get a few things done, despite being somewhat spaced out all day! The highlight of the day had to be our treat of Chinese take-out, from downtown Bridgton's very own RubyFood. Back in Cambridge, we used to order Chinese take-out every other week, and they'd even deliver.. We both got an order of hot and sour soup, which really gives you a kick in the head. Yum.

This week should prove to be somewhat nutso.. I'll be working at the food store monday, tuesday and wednesday, and my boss won't be there because he's on jury duty, and we're gonna have big deliveries to put out and away, and there should be lot's of Thanksgiving Day shoppers.. By wednesday night, I'll probably be fried again... just in time for the family festivities to begin. Oh well, at least most of my responsiblities revolve simply around eating and drinking.

"What are you looking at?"

11-13-06 We both worked all day (well, most of it) and now the chicken is baking and the Celtics are playing. We are both admiring our new shelf, which I picked up at The Corn Shop last week, and Don painted the inside backs red.

Bunky wonders what Don is doing in the basement.

11-12-06 Busy weekend here, got a lot done... and yes, I've finished all the mixing and sorting and burning and printing of cd covers and wrapping up cd's in paper packages to send out to Nat, Dwight & Ralph.. That was a lot of crap! Ha! I put one song I thought deemed safe for internet society from saturday, Nov. 4th, up on the Krush Truck page. The rest of the takes you'll have to ask Nat, Dwight or Ralph to hear them..if you dare.

11-9-06 Some pics from last weekend.

More pics here.

11-1-06 I just Googled my dad, and I found this link. No wonder I don't always know what he's talking about!

11-1-06 November is here at last! Ok, so nobody ever says that, so I thought I would. Welcome cold, bitter, gray November!

Somehow, I stumbled across the web site of the photographer who lives down at the end of the road. It's wierd, because Zdad happened to mention him yesterday when he strolled over just before dusk. Here is a link to his BLOG. He's a photographer, and there are a bunch of photos of this area. After all the photos I've been taking up here over the last couple of years, it's cool to see images from a professional photographer taking photos of the same views I see every day!
