NOTES MAY 2007 Back to the archives. 5-30-07 Don's Memorial Day Birthday Weekend was nice. Friday night was actually HOT, so we spent most of that first night out on the back porch. My old highschool friend Chris H. made it up and spent the night, along with "regulars" Disc D and Said! John & Mary Kelly a couple of nights before they went back to Holland. Mom in a blur. Putting together the gazebo. It's not so easy! Chris getting "the fever" over disc golf. Said shot video and cooked and laughed a lot! Look, it's me, only smaller. 5-15-07 Happy Birthday to RAY!! A very nice day, despite a little "unsettled" weather.. Warm, though, and that's always good. I created a slideshow on my Photobucket photo site of pics from our camera of last Saturday the 12th of May. We had a great time with a day visit from Dwight and newcomer Johnny, and the day included a round of disc golf, a midday cheeseburger, and a hike up to the top of the hill. 5-6-07 Once again I have been scratching my head over how to condense/modify/update, etc., this old web site here lately.. I'm really at a loss these days. So, in the meantime, I sporaticaly update with new pics. What else can I do? Hopefully, something will change at some point.. Luckily, the weather has taken a turn for the better, though the wind has been awful the last few days.. It has been dry, though, and that's a relief. We managed to get the basement set up again today. It had been empty for nearly 3 weeks because of the water, but it's dry as a bone now. We've got the new groovy piano down there, and my old amp is back in order, and I even slapped a coat of fresh paint on a couple of the little studio tables, just for fun. The dirt in the Hex has been turned over and the beds are all ready for veggie plants and flowers. Some of my new Daffodills popping out in the front yard. A new garden bed in the front side yard and the new Hydrangea (spelling???) plant.. more flowers to come. Poor sick Bonezee waiting in the cage for us to take him to the vet (Monday he'll go in).. Don's been perfecting his spring grilling techniques just in time for the Memorial Day rush! 5-1-07 Aha! It's May, god damn it! This is great.. the weather is getting better, the green is popping, and it's time to start throwing veggies into the dirt and watch them grow.. Very cool stuff. Saturday, we went down to pick up my amp (yeah, it's fixed!), and we ended up picking up an early birthday present for Don...
