NOTES FEBRUARY 2006

2-27-06 Brr! And Happy Birthday to Jill.

2-25-06 Well, we've transferred this web site from the old zip disc to the desk top of the new computer, and this is my test run at updating the pages.

Slowly getting settled in with it. I've been able to import a bunch of photos and songs.

We've also done some painting.

Got a little snow today.

Talked to some good friends on the phone.

All in all, a nice day.

2-19-06 Oh my gosh. Been spending way too much time on the computers..fun though. Just keep plugging along. I'm not totally sold on the Dot Mac webpage option. I mean..nobody can comment on blogs...having that option makes blogging so much more fun. Another thing that bugs me. Everytime I make a change or addition on one page, then go to upload it on line, the thing uploads the whole site again! Which makes for a long wait. When I upload my stuff on this web site, it takes seconds, because it only takes the stuff I tell it to take. It's the little things. Even my MySpace page doesn't take that long. Though that is limited, there is something so simple about it that I just love.

2-13-06 Eek! This page is looking pretty shabby these days, isn't it? I've been working on the temporary .mac page (and blogging a bit, too). To view that, click (Dead Link). It's a work in progress, so please forgive the lameness of it all. It's been really fun re-training my brain to work less to make a web page. You can also visit my other blog here, if you care to read more mindless writings from me. Come on people, jump on the peace train!

2-07-06 Well, our computer / internet-life and capacities are temporarily in limbo until we get a better understanding of how our new systems work on the new computer.. There is so much to work with, it's quite overwhelming! On top of that, we've had a wonderful weekend with visitors..first the Krush Truck boys (Nash & Disc D.) made it up for a very productive 2 nights of playing and recording (as well as a little video taping), and then another 2 nights of playing and recording and video taping with the third ingredient to The Rotators, Brendan. So, we haven't had much time to research the whole new world on the Imac. Though I have managed to squeeze in a few lightening-fast games of backgammon! Here's a few pics that I emailed over to myself..better stuff to come soon.

An attractive band, yes?

The winner of the 2nd Anual Fessenden Hill Invitation Only Snow Bowl 2006!

Another bad photo of me, but a nice looking git-tar, ain't it?
