NOTES APRIL 2006
Back to the archives.

4-24-06 Ugh..never mind. I just went back to 12 pixels from 11 after looking at the page on the old iMac. Too light, too hard to read. It looks so cool on this new computer screen. Ah well. 12 is the best. I guess I'll leave the background back for a day or two, just for the heck of it.

4-24-06 I'm just messing around with font sizes and color changes.. I don't know, what do you think? I've always liked a smaller font, but I know it's kind of hard to see for some of you.

4-24-06 One more week and it's May. That's so cool. Don played at Bray's Saturday night. I went over with a local friend. We had fun, and I even fell on my ass in public. No, I wasn't drunk. I just fell like an idiot. I was sore all day yesterday, but we managed to get over to North Conway. Don and I both bought a pair of new Vans (a brand of casual sneakers). His are chocolate brown and mine are black with a red stripe. We feel so cool in our new Vans. We were doing adds for them by the fire last night. We also picked up this funky new hat for Don.

4-17-06 Sunday turned out to be cloudy, windy and cool, but not so bad that we couldn't get started on turning over the dirt in The Hex garden bed. We're about a third of the way done. Back-breaking work, but gratifying none-the-less.

My boss gave me a whole slew of cut Lillies, deemed un-fit for resale.

They smell just as sweet as they look.

4-10-06 Oh my gosh, it's only ten days into the month and I've already got a million pics up on this page! Oh well, please excuse the unfolding photos as the page unloads on your ancient old computers. Here's some pics from this weekend.

Dad getting energy from the circle in the hex.

My first crocus flowers blooming in Sunday's sun.

Dwight & the boys get in some shooting on Saturday.

As well as some putting.

Me in the barn.

Me wearing the Gypsy Wranglers cap on sunny Sunday.

Mom & Dad visit after church.

Soaking up the sun.

Nat & Dad in the kitchen on Saturday.

Don works on the Par 7 shot from the woods.

The Spring Bowl team. I believe Dwight won on Sunday.

4-5-06 Woo Hoo! It's "pay" day! Yuck yuck. So, here's a couple of pics I took this morning of the snow we got yesterday and last night.. Of course, most of it landed right here, on the vortext that is known as the Hill.

Don did say "we're jumping the gun on this" when we brought the bench out.

Scratch & Scooter. Scooter wants to go sledding.

4-4-06 What in the world?? The last few days have been no colder than 40 degrees, usually more, in the 60's.. This morning? Snow. Rain. Wind. 30 degrees. Wah!! We no like that. However, we will survive. Which reminds me, "Survivor" on CBS this season has been really good. With a name like "EXILE ISLAND" how can you go wrong?

We're thinking of making a garden bed here.

It's a sunny, fertile spot, just next to that giant, bad-ass Rhubarb.

4-2-06 April Fools Day brought super warm temps, some sun in the morning, rain in the afternoon, then some more sun at dusk. Which produced this rainbow here. I walked around and took a few pics.

There is a pot of gold over in Mom & Dad's field.

We were having a staring contest.

We've recently cleared out this grove.

Widening out the paths.

Steam after the rain.

Should I sign up for Flicker, a free photo sharing site? Hmmmm.
