The sEcReT AgEnT JaMs of ThE kRiTiX originated in 1993 by Kate Seavey and Kevin Mahoney with rocking songwriting jams, featuring our old pal, "TurnAround" Terry Hughes, on drums. In September of 1999, Special Agents Mahoney and Seavey reuinited to awaken ThE kRiTiX from the dead, adding Special Agents Delaney and Reed to the lineup.
ThE kRiTiX combine old school textbook funk with street smart rhythm and blues to produce a daring mesh of sincerety and sass. The tongue-in-cheek humor and down-home rootsy pap makes the brain wanna spin and the body wanna sin.
As of June 7, 2000, ThE kRiTiX successfully completed their assigned 10 month mission of Rock and Sin. Their next mission, should they choose to accept it, has yet to be determined, pending further agent investigations.
